Ranthambore

Things to do - general

Sawai Madhopur(Ranthambore), with the names come a regal and ostentatious aura to it and as Rajasthani cities go this one has its own distinctiveness.

Home to the Ranthambore National Park and Fort, this location provides as the most adventurous and beautiful weekend getaways of all time, mainly because of the variety of magnificent wildlife found there. It seems quite unbelievable for the size of the National Park with its lush greenery to be thriving in such an arid region and the formidable fort has its own historical tales to regale.

World heritage sites, both the park with its glistening rivers and the fortress surrounded by valleys and lakes, crowned so by UNESCO have a habitat so enchanting that any visitor would want their trip never to cease. This voyage is made easily accessible by the different forms of transport to and from the region and would be incomplete to say the least, if a conscious effort is not made to experience the festivals and fairs or the museums offered that educate and entertain children, as well as become a part of corporate programs.
