This enchanting city is popular for a number of pre-independence structures such as the Viceregal Lodge, the Gaiety Theatre, and Auckland House and of course the Kalka-Shimla railway line that joined the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites in 2008. The camp is located on one of the seven-hill town’s right on the outskirts of Shimla, namely Summer Hill which is at a distance of 5km west from the massively frequented Shimla Ridge.

This hill is home to the coveted Himachal Pradesh University and also where, the railway line passes through making it convenient for visitors to use this mode of transportation to get to Potter’s Hill Camp.
