Shimla

Shimla the capital city of Himachal Pradesh caters to a large sector of the tourism industry in India making it the perfect getaway. It lays in the south-western ranges of the Himalayas with predominantly cold weather in the winters and the summer months being semi warm.
This enchanting city is popular for a number of pre-independence structures such as the Viceregal Lodge, the Gaiety Theatre, and Auckland House and of course the Kalka-Shimla railway line that joined the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites in 2008. The camp is located on one of the seven-hill town’s right on the outskirts of Shimla, namely Summer Hill which is at a distance of 5km west from the massively frequented Shimla Ridge.
This hill is home to the coveted Himachal Pradesh University and also where, the railway line passes through making it convenient for visitors to use this mode of transportation to get to Potter’s Hill Camp. Stay close to nature’s heart by admiring the splendor of the beautiful pine and deodar trees that grow in plenty on the Summer Hill and in the camp forests. The campsite known for its breathtaking flora and fauna as well as its entertaining activities, make it a place worthwhile to spend your weekend at.
