The panorama of this vibrant blue hued city brings only one blissful thought to mind and that is what a sight to behold and an amazingly scenic voyage to be on.
Jodhpur , with the grand and giant Mehrangarh Fort overlooking the entire vastness of the city that acts as a entrance way to the sandy dunes of the Thar, has so much cultural and historic richness to indulge its many visitors on their trips from far and wide.
What an apt getaway for any kind of weekend where one can visit the Old city with its little blue painted houses or its many temples, palaces, lakes or forts that have stood the ravages of time and appear even more lovely now making tourists gasp in awe at the extra ordinariness of this location.
To be lost in the intricate yet mystical and medieval set up of Jodhpur would free the spirits of the most wound up travelers even, especially the over worked corporate kind or the burdened homemakers just looking to be a tourist on vacation.
